The Best Women's Hiking Pants for Fit, Stretch, and Durability
Ten testers ran, trekked, and squatted in dozens of products to find this summer’s best new hiking pants and shorts.
Once testers tried [Paradis Sport's Natural Fiber] plant-based briefs (made of superfine micro-modal produced from sustainably harvested beech tree pulp) they refused to go back to plasticky synthetic standards. “I love the soft fabric, the breathability, and the odor control throughout sweaty activity,” said one New Hampshire hiker.

A Run With Sarah Weihman, Founder and CEO, Paradis Sport
Who She Is ... After playing D1 sports at Dartmouth College (field hockey and lacrosse) and majoring in Art History and English and minoring in French (all studies that certainly helped in the run specialty business!) and receiving a Master’s in architecture and landscape architecture at UVA, Sarah Weihman remains active running, skiing and hiking with my family, along with some paddle tennis and tennis. And, of course, as CEO running the company she founded, Paradis Sport.
The “elevator pitch” on Paradis Sport … “We make the best performance underwear for runners, fit-tested by elite athletes and designed for all women, and made sustainably in the USA.”

Chafing And Running: How To Prevent Chafing While Running
Chafing is most common in long-distance runners, cyclists, triathletes, or other endurance athletes because it takes time and repetitive friction for skin abrasion to develop. The good news is that there are effective steps you can take to help prevent chafing while running. "The best women’s running underwear I have found is the Paradis Sport underwear because it is sweat-wicking and form-fitting."

New Gear We Are Testing: Summer 2023
This summer, I’ve been testing travel and active underwear from a new brand called Paradis Sport. So far, Paradis Sport has done a better job of staying in place for our testers than models from the other underwear brands we’ve tested. Paradis even has a wedgie-free guarantee.
They are made in the USA and have a take-back program to keep old underwear out of landfills.
We’re going to keep testing, but this is a brand to keep your eye on!

What we're testing now: near-perfect hiking underwear
"Since January, I’ve been testing Paradis Sport’s Seamless Bikini while ski-touring, Nordic skiing, hiking and backpacking. I prefer it to all other options in my drawer. The new cottage brand, founded by outdoor athlete Sarah Weihman, uses a USA-made nylon fabric that’s thinner than similar performance briefs made by companies like Patagonia."

Best Hiking Underwear for Women of 2023: Best Hiking Thong
"Paradis Sport is creating soft, athletic underwear that stays in place while exercising. The brief and thong have stretch, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying qualities for hiking. The fabric is thinner allowing for the right amount of support and breathability."

Who Runs the World? Women.
"Sarah Weihman is a former NCAA Division 1 athlete and a trained architect. After wearing the same brand of women’s underwear for years, she was dismayed to find out that the cut and measurements had changed, meaning the underwear was now uncomfortable for her active lifestyle."
